THE MISER ON IZMIR UNIVERSITY OF ECOMICS STAGE
The students showed great performance in the play that won recognition from the audience.
“The Miser” which is the most famous work of Moliere, the founder of modern comedy theatre and famous playwright, was staged at İzmir University of Economics. The cast made up of 15 university students performed the play successfully which is staged by the Theatre Club trainer Emrah Şenışık. In the play, the life of Harpagon who does not care about nothing but money, and who is a miser although he is very rich makes the audience both laugh and think. The play staged successfully by the Theatre Club students and applauded loudly.
