A CHAIRMAN FROM IZMIR IN DRESDEN
After completing his education at İzmir University of Economics, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Mathematics, Koğ did masters in Istanbul Technical University on IT Based Construction Management and he continues his PhD education in Dresden Technical University. Faikcan Koğ, who was a Student Council assistant for two years in İzmir University of Economics, continues his social life in Germany. Dresden Turkish Academicians and Students Union gathers the academicians and students with the activities it organizes throughout the year.
Faikcan Koğ underlined that Dresden was one of the most important universities in Europe and said, “We have the only Turkish student union in East Germany. This is very important. Because Dresden has a very big Turkish student potential. We lead the students who want to come here, and who came here and live here. Getting together under a union contributes to our social life. We get together with the academicians and students with the activities we organize throughout the year. I am very proud to be the chairman of such an important union.”
Faikcan Koğ, who does PhD for two years in Dresden Technical University, says that he wants to come back to Turkey and go into politics in 3 years after completing his PhD.
