VALET STAND OF THE 21st CENTURY
The “Vale Stand” designed by 3rd grade student Aybars Gülnar won the contest with its functionality and deign.
17 students attended the contest with the theme “Ironing in 21st Century” that is organized in the scope of the 3rd grade FFD300 Design Competition Project course. The competition that is organized in the scope of the course given by Industrial Design Instructor Aslı Çetin got attention from the students. “Valet Stand” which is designed as a clothes hanger as well as an ironing board has a modern style of the 21st century. The model that provides convenience for the user with its adjustable height and turning wheels was the favorite item of the competition. The designs that won recognition from Granit Ltd. Co. will be exhibited in the Fair that will be organized in İstanbul from September 24 to 27.
Aybars Gülnar became the first, Ceren Köktürk became the second, and Sinem Koç became the third in the competition and the received their awards from İzmir University of Economics Rector Prof. Dr. Attila Sezgin.
