THE ENTREPRENEURS ARE FLYING
The Etohum camp that Izmir University of Economics will host for the second time is going to do something unprecedented: It will make investors and entrepreneurs meet in the sky.
Izmir University of Economics is bringing the successful entrepreneurs and investors whose names appear on the Internet. They will participate in an Etohum Camp that will take place at Izmir University of Economics on Saturday December, 18th, and they will be on the same plane from Istanbul to Izmir, and they’ll be able to get to know and talk with each other in the air. Through this activity of Etohum called, “The Entrepreneurs are Flying!” those guests and speakers who are taking part in the Izmir Camp will have the opportunity to get to know the Entrepreneurs from Izmir during a cordial air travel before they actually come together in Izmir.
Taylan Demirkaya, Director of Embryonix Unit at Izmir University of Economics, said that the Etohum camp which took place in October in Izmir for the first time was very effective. He added, “The results of the first camp were very favourable. In our second camp we intend to bring together quite a lot of entrepreneurs and investors as well. Another feature of the camp is the activity “The Entrepreneurs are Flying!” Our guests from Istanbul, the speakers and entrepreneurs from Istanbul, will be on the same plane to Izmir, and they’ll get a chance to get to know each other before the camp. Our entrepreneurs who will participate in the camp will be notified of the most recent developments in this sector and they’ll also have the chance to get in touch with others to improve their enterprises and their ideas.”
Burak Büyükdemir, the founder of Etohum, who’s coming to Izmir with a big group of speakers said, “Our speakers and participants from Istanbul will have a pleasant flight and get to know each other, talk about the Internet and new economy before we meet out friends in Izmir.
