2011 FURNITURE FROM STUDENTS OF IZMIR UNIVERSITY OF ECONOMICS
The first period projects exhibition of Faculty of Fine Arts and Design Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Department students was opened.
The exhibition was held at Faculty of Fine Arts and Design Department building and 120 students attended with their 65 projects. Izmir University of Economics President of Board of Trustees Ekrem Demirtas brought students together with Chamber of Commerce Furniture Business Committee. Having stated that graduate students from Izmir University of Economics make difference with their entrepreneurship and he said I see they have done really good works once. He stated that their aim is to create entrepreneur students and graduate them. I can see we have succeeded it. The committee members would gather information from you and broaden your horizon and maybe you would have the chance of marketing your products from now. We have a really good education staff. Use it as much as possible, he said.
After the opening ceremony the President Ekrem Demirtas and Committee Members visited the exhibition and checked the projects one by one. The sector representatives having gathered information about projects stated that some of them are as well to go to production process.
