SUCCESS KEY OF STUDENTS ‘’COMPASS’’
Compass programme, which was started in Turkey for t the first time by Izmir University of Economics Students’ Deanship, brings students together with leading experts of academicians, politics, artists and businessmen.
The declination of COMPASS is being stated as ‘’Cultural, Orientation, Mutual, Professional, Academic, Social, Success. Having had a great importance on development and career of students COMPASS programme continues with great interest in 2010-2011 academic year. COMPASS programme had started with a Jazz concert at the beginning of academic year to adapt students. The programme is very important for students to support them socially and to carry their theoretic knowledge to life.
There are lots of different kinds of social activities in COMPASS like, concerts, theatres, and personal development presentations, attendance educations to UE projects, vocational improvement seminars and cinema seminars. Students have COMPASS cards and their attendance to activities is followed. ‘’Attendance Certificate’’ will be given to students who attended at least 8 activities at the end of programme.
