A VISIT TO LEADERS OF SECTOR BY ENGINEERS OF FUTURE
Izmir University of Economics Faculty of Engineering and Computer Sciences Department students visited leading institutions of sector and had opportunity to learn business in its place.
Industrial Systems Engineering Department organized visits to CMS, Elmas Logistics, Hidromek, İlke Machine and Keskinoğlu companies in first period of academic year. Industrial Engineering Department instructor Nejat Kutup stated that they aim to graduate people who would contribute to sectors in the future. He also said ‘’our aim is to prepare students for business life with application oriented works; we provide them opportunities to bring their knowledge and experience together. For this reason we prepare the students for business life by organizing visits to leading institutions of the sector.’’
Industrial Systems Engineering last year students stated that they had the chance of use their theoretic knowledge in practice and got a real business experience.
