CERTIFICATE CHANGE AT SECOND FOREIGN LANGUAGES FOR IUE STUDENTS
Izmir University of Economics School of Foreign Languages Director Asst. Prof. Dr. Evrim Üstünlüoğlu attended to 2 Days Seminar in Germany as guest of Tests of European Languages Centre. Asst. Prof. Dr. Evrim Üstünlüoğlu gave a piece of good news that Izmir University of Economics is among candidate universities to be the centre in Turkey.
12 Universities were invited from Turkey to the seminar. The attendants had an exchange of ideas about measuring and evaluating English, German, Italian, Spanish, French, Russian and Portuguese according to Europe framework programmes and popularizing in question exams in Turkey.
Having attended to seminar of European Languages Centre whose central is in Frankfurt, Asst. Prof. Dr. Evrim Üstünlüoğlu stated that the examination certificates with their validity and reliability, had an important place for business life of students .Asst. Prof. Dr. Evrim Üstünlüoğlu said ‘’Having been thought second foreign languages to its students and having had aim of graduate students who are competent in two foreign languages, since the day it was established Izmir University of Economics encourages its students to have international foreign language certificate. I believe that international exam certificates which will be started to be given for Italian, English, French, Russian and German will contribute to job finding process of students.’’
