DEANS OF THE ENGINEERING FACULTIES SIGN FOR COOPERATION
“The Platform of Engineering Faculties of İzmir Universities”, established by the active participation of the deans of the Engineering Faculties in all the universities of İzmir, is preparing to sign a protocol, which is of a great significance for the education.
In the ceremony, to be held in İzmir University of Economics, deans of the 7 universities in İzmir and Command of Air Technique Schools will be signing on the cooperation. Aegean University, Dokuz Eylül University, İzmir Institute of High Technology, Yaşar University, İzmir University, Gediz University and Command of Air Technique Schools, to be hosted by the dean of the Engineering and Computer Sciences Faculty, Prof. Dr. Turhan Tunalı, may be able to carry out partnerships in projects and RE-DE studies with the protocol that they will sign.
Stating that discussing the basic troubles of the faculties by gathering in every 3 months, the platform, which was established by the participation of the deans of the Engineering Faculties in all the universities of İzmir, produces proposals of solutions, Prof. Dr. Turhan Tunalı says that: “this platform, constituted by all the participations of all our deans, aims primarily to display the academic and other problems of Engineering Faculties and to look for the solutions. We have decided to sign such a protocol as a result of the problems and solutions that we put forward in the meetings held in Aegean, Dokuz Eylül, İzmir and Gediz Universities since today. 7 deans of the universities and Command of Air Technique Schools, who signed this protocol, have decided for common projects and cooperation. In our view of point, it is a very significant pace for İzmir and the Engineering Faculties. In the forthcoming times, we will hold our meeting with the productive results of this cooperation.”
