FROM COMPUTER GAME TO SINAVO
Students preparing for the university entrance examinations will both learn and enjoy free of charge with the project Sınavo which was carried out by Murat Demir and Özgür Erten within the body of Embryonix, who graduated from the Faculty of Computer Sciences in İzmir University of Economics. Resembling to Facebook in the way that it is a share site as well, Sınavo aims to teach the students by entertaining them without making them undergo stress.
The project Sınavo, which was formed within the body of Embryonix in İzmir University of Economics, takes place among the enterprises that will be invested and supported in the year 2011 by the fund of Etohum, which throw entrepreneurs and investors together. The coordinators of the project Sınavo has showed a great success by being one of the last 15 enterpreneurs among the 2200 applications made to Etohum. With this success, Sınavo is expected to take a share from the fund of 250.000 TL, which was created for the year 2011 by the Etohum. The project Sınavo, which was developed within the body of Embryonix in İzmir University of Economics, bears the feature of being a platform which makes exams much easier for both the students and the teachers.
The test that tells on which question the student is stuck on
The opportunity of the analysis as to which question the student solves at which intervals, how many minutes the s/he puts aside for which question, which questions s/he has difficulty in or at which subjects s/he is more successful has been presented in the Sınavo, in which the students solves the questions online, due to the newly-developed software. Furthermore, Sınavo provides the chance for the students to see their places in Turkey with a unique statistics as a result of the analysis. Just as the education platform, which facilitates the students to solve tests without getting bored with the modules which turns solving tests into a playground, is a form of an entertaining way of education, it is an elusive opportunity of education for the teacher.
We make studying a pleasant thing
One of the project coordinators, Murat Demir, who stated that the project will come into existence in March at the very latest, said that: “For the past 2 years, we have been working on this project nights after nights. We put a great deal of effort in. It is not so far for us to pass through the university entrance exam. We took ourselves as the sample. We wanted to develop an entertaining method instead of getting bored of solving tests. Sınavo is a project which we prepared inspiring from computer games. We can say that we have made solving tests and studying a more pleasant thing. Beyond its entertaining way, the analysis would be very useful for the students. It presents you the conclusion as to how many times you deal with which question, which questions you passed without solving, and your instability. It is a very significant method for covering the deficiencies. It also compares you to the other nominees in Turkey. You can see your place. It is very good for us that the project has made a great success.”

Saying that the project within the Embryonix is a good start for both the users and the projects to be developed at later stages, academic member Taylan Demirkaya, the director of Embryonix, says that: “Other good projects have been developed within the body of Embryonix since today. Sınavo is one of them. What we are contented at is that it will make a good example for other entrepreneurs. I suppose that we will develop many more successful projects.”
