THEY TOLD THE TURKISH POLICY IN USA
Gettysburg College students and Izmir University of Economics, Ineternational Relations and Europeen Unions students who are getting mutual lesson called “Current Issues in Turkish Policy” gave a presentation about their commun study in USA.
Students of Ineternational Relations and Europeen Unions; Sıla Boz ve Ayşenur Ayça Kahraman had the opportunity to present their study as part of the lesson “Current Issues in Turkish Policy” to Gettysburg College’s Rector. The presentation was very well received by the academicians and students.
Asst. Prof. Filiz Başkan from Ineternational Relations and Europeen Union Department said that the students of two countries made a common study under this lesson and also she noticed that students of each country are learning academic theories due to the subject with their own teachers and then every two weeks they make team work in order to discuss the theories and current developments in a special classroom with a live connection.
President affirmed that this lesson is very good for the students to solve theirself from prejudiced opinions and profit from international development. He also added that two students from Gettysburg College are going to come to Izmir University of Economics in order to make a presentation about their studies at summertime.
