\"GERMAN ON ITS WAY\" STOPS AT IUE
The last stop for “German On its Way” bus, which makes a visit to the universities and education institutions in Turkey, was Izmir University of Economics.
The bus started its Turkey tour in September and will visit 36 cities during 8 months and explain “German” to students who will choose a second foreign language. The team including a lecturer and two assistants met with IUE students on campus. The bus attracted a huge attention of students who are interested in learning German, with its interesting competitions and language games.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Sevinç Mesbah, School of Foreign Languages, Academic Coordinator of German Language, stated that “German on its Way” bus chose only Izmir University of Economics campus as a foundation university. She said, “This bus, touring Turkey, makes German language more appealing to students in an informative and playful way. We’re happy to host such an activity on our campus.”
