PHOTOGRAPHY LOVERS MEET AT THE STUDIO
Izmir University of Economics- Photography Club (EKOFOT) is bringing students together who are interested in photography, by means of activities and workshops they organize throughout the year.
Photography Club students, who are led by Ozge Deniz Ozker, Photography Studio Technician and Photography Club Instructor, have received applied training on “Basic Principles of Photographic Production from Technology to Ontology” by Mehmet Salıcı. Salıcı, who’s been working as a 35mm film and digital camera assistant in advertisements and films, and working as a photographer since 1997, has created a different learning experience for students by experimenting “Pinhole Photography” in the studio.
Ozker has stated that the activities of the Photography Club would continue throughout the year, and they would continue to bring the students together with surprise guests. At the end of the occasion, Vice Chairman Asena Aksayım, of the IUE Photography Club, has presented Mehmet Salıcı with a certificate of Appreciation.
