EMBRYONİX WILL TAKE ENTREPRENEURS TO THE IN 2012
Embryonix, the first incubation centre of Turkey, has identified new working principles and new goals for 2012. The Executive Board for Embryonix has come together under the leadership of Ekrem Demirtaş, Izmir University of Economics President of Board of Trustees, and made a decision in regards of needs of entrepreneurs. President Demirtaş has expressed that students have achieved success in so many projects with the support of Embryonix, and that Izmir Chamber of Commerce (IZTO) will seek more help from Embryonix for “innovation” themed projects in 2012.
A decision has been made as for Embryonix to reach out to more entrepreneurs in 2012 at the Executive Board meeting where Izmir University of Economics Acting Rector Prof. Dr. Tuçdan Baltacıoğlu, Izmir University of Economics Secretary General Levent Gökçeer, Aegean Young Businessmen Association (EGİAD) President Temel Aycan Şen, Embryonix Director Taylan Demirkaya and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Öznur Yurt have attended.
EGIAD President Şen has indicated that their support to Embryonix, which has IZTO, EGIAD, ESIAD (Aegean Industrialists and Businessmen Association) and EBSO (Aegean Region Chamber of Industry) as partners will continue increasingly. President Şen has said, “We feel it is our duty to support our youth and bring them close with businessmen. We’ve provided a 6 month long training to 60 entrepreneurs in a program we carried out together with KOSGEB (Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization). Such programs play an important role in getting ready for or entering business world. We will be reaching a very important goal for Embryonix by bringing entrepreneurs together with angel investors in the second phase of this program.”

Embryonix limited company is a non-profited incubation program. Its partners are IZTO (Izmir Chamber of Commerce), EGIAD (Aegean Young Businessmen Association), ESIAD (Aegean Industrialists and Businessmen Association), EBSO (Aegean Region Chamber of Industry), and Izmir University of Economics. The main objectives of Embryonix are to turn new ideas into businesses and to find investors for those ideas. Its goal is to increase awareness of entrepreneurship in Turkey, especially in Izmir.
