SPECIAL INVITATION TO BRAZIL
Bahar Kızıltunalı, IUE School of Foreign Languages English Preparatory Programme Head, who gives conferences to British Council Brazil via video conference, has been invited to Brazil because of her successful conference.
Kızıltunalı has travelled to Brazil upon an invitation with IUE School of Foreign Languages Instructor Pamela McArthur after her video conference being broadcasted to 5 different centres by British Council Brazil. Bahar Kızıltunalı has successfully represented Turkey in 3 cities in Brazil with 4 different seminars on testing. Pamela McArthur also has drawn attention with her “Problems Students Face in University Education” themed presentation.
Bahar Kızıltunalı, who has given conferences to English teachers in Brazil on “Testing Techniques” and “Reflections of Tests on Education” subjects, has said that, “our consultations have continued with British Council Brazil on different subjects after the video conference. There’s a big demand and interest on preparing tests in English. British Council has invited me to lecture on this subject which is my specialty. It has been a great honour to represent Izmir University of Economics and Turkey in Brazil”.
