IZMIR EFFECT IN KOREA
Izmir University of Economics (IUE) Music Consultant Alaskar Abbasov and Folk Dancing Trainer Teoman Dalcı have come together with musicians from other countries in Korea and participated in a magnificent performance.
Alaskar Abbasov and Teoman Dalcı, who’s been invited to Korea by the Group HATA, have put in a special performance called “The One Yeta” with musicians from 20 different countries such as China, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, and Japan. Abbasov has stated that they were very happy to take part in an international organization, and he’s said, “There’s a different harmony and style in every country’s music. Musicians from different cultural backgrounds get together and blend this style. We played a Turkish song “Çok Yaşa Sen Ayşe”. All the musicians played it eagerly. Our song attracted great deal of attention.”
Abbasov has indicated that peace was targeted through different melodies, and a unique taste of new world music has stayed on participants’ minds at the organization. While Alaskar Abbasov has played keyboard, lute, and guitar, Teoman Dalcı has played bongo, drums, and bendir at the performance.
