DESIGNER KARAKAYA MET WITH THE STUDENTS
Sıla Karakaya, an art director in cinema, and who is also well known for her stage designs, met with the students of Izmir University of Economics.
After graduating from Bilkent University-Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, Karakaya, who received her graduate degree at New York University, Department of Design for Stage and Film, shared her experiences with the students of Faculty of Fine Arts and Design.
Sıla Karakaya, who met senior students as part of Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Applied Workshop II course, shared how she excelled in her career with the students. Karakaya chatted with the students at the workshop and pointed out the importance of personal qualifications. She said, “One of the best things I did was to be a student. Being a good student is one of the most significant facts for a career. Try to improve your personal attributions while you are a student”.
At the end of the workshop, Sıla Karakaya answered the questions about the profession, interior architecture and environmental design.
