HOW ABUOT A FRENCH BREAKFAST THIS MORNING
Instructors and students of Izmir University of Economics-School of Foreign Languages, French Language Program held an aid campaign for Children’s Oncology Ward at Dokuz Eylül University Hospital.
French Language instructors Sırma Güven and Marie Claire Perbet Tekiz, set up a stand for 3 days with the help of students at the main cafeteria area. Güven and Tekiz sold croissants with their slogan, “How About a French Breakfast This Morning?”, and collected donations for Children’s Oncology Ward. The University students and staff also provided materials needed by kids such as colouring books and colouring pencils and toys. The croissant sales were a big hit for the students. The earnings from the sales were donated to the Children’s Oncology Ward at Dokuz Eylül University Hospital.
