A FAREWELL VISIT FROM ÖZTÜRK
Air Training Commander Lt. Gen. Akın Öztürk who has been appointed as the new Air Forces commander, paid a farewell visit to Prof. Dr. Tunçdan Baltacıoğlu, Rector of Izmir University of Economics.
IUE Rector Prof. Dr. Baltaçıoğlu, who expressed good wishes to Lt. Gen. Akın Öztürk on his new appointment, said, “I believe that we need to perform our duties excellently in order to serve our country and humanity. Only then we can be beneficial to our environment, city, country, and humanity. As the Air Training Commander, you restored my belief by providing great contributions to Izmir, our country and humanity. You left your marks on the city with your successful achievements.”
Prof. Dr. Baltacıoğlu presented a plate engraved with flower designs to Lt. Gen. Akın Öztürk in remembrance of the visit.
