HIGHER EDUCATION NOT BOUND BY TIME-SPACE
Izmir University of Economics (IUE) is blazing a trail in graduate degree programs with “distance education model”. The business administration graduate degree program (e-MBA) offered by IUE Graduate School of Social Sciences will allow students to receive education without having to come to the University. Also, a business administration program in Turkish will be offered for the first time for Special Law and Executives. The youth will create a new vision for themselves in business life in addition to their academic lives at IUE where applications for graduate degree and Ph.D. programs started. Interested parties may apply until September 5 for graduate degree programs, and attend the informative meeting on August 28.
The youth seeking academic life will be able to receive Ph.D. programs in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, and Design Studies, and graduate degree programs in Executive MBA (EMBA – Turkish), MBA, Finance, Sustainable Energy, Logistics Management, Experimental Psychology, Design Studies, Yacht Design, Financial Economics, Media and Communication Studies, Political Science and International Relations. On the other hand, Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences will offer Ph.D. programs in Applied Mathematics and Statistics, and graduate degree programs in Intelligent Engineering Systems, Applied Statistics, Financial Mathematics, and Architecture.
Prof. Dr. Tunçdan Baltacıoğlu, IUE Rector, stated that they worked hard to offer youth the best quality of education in academic life. He said, “With the distance education model which we will be using for the first time, our students will be able to receive education not limited to time and space by using the latest technologies. By this means, people with limited educational opportunities or people, who cannot receive education because they work, will be able to pursue their academic goals.
