SUSTAINABLE ENERGY GRADUATE DEGREE PROGRAM GUARANTEES EMPLOYMENT

The students at Sustainable Energy Graduate Program, which is being offered by Izmir University of Economics Graduate School of Social Sciences, are being employed at prestigious jobs even before they graduate. Students, who are working on their thesis after the completion of the first year of the program, take part among the most demanded names of the business world after a high quality education provided by the expert academicians and professionals.

At the first year of the program, the students started to work at executive positions at important companies such as Eastern European Energy Ltd. (E3), Solar Insurance and Finance (Solarif), Sekman Engineering, and Döğerlioğlu Law Firm, which provide services in different fields of energy sector.  Also, one of the students in the program qualified to perform internship at “Triangle Venture Capital Group” in Germany for 6 months.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Efe Biresselioğlu, IUE Head of Department of Sustainable Energy, stressed that they raised qualified human resource for Turkey’s developing   energy sector, and continued, “Our students get a chance to get together with important institutions and organizations in energy sector with the technical trips, scientific congresses and meetings, and seminars we organize throughout the year. They get a chance to present themselves. Also, motivations and guidance by the top executives of leading companies in Turkey, who conduct lectures as part of the program, contribute a lot to the students.”
