KIDS ARE GROWING UP WITH KIDOLINDO
Kids are growing up with the creative toys that come in boxes. Eda Evdüzen, who launched a company named Kidolindo within the body of IUE Embriyonix Centre, help kids develop faster and allow kids and parents to spend a quality time together with the toys she prepares.
Evdüzen prepares an “activity box” for 3-6 year olds each month with the help of experts, sells these products online at www.kidolindo.com address. She stated that the kids both had fun time with their parents and learned age appropriate information through these toys. Evdüzen reaches out to the kids, who are getting more and more alienated due to technology, through the magical world of games and toys with Kidolindo boxes that contain different themes each month.
Evdüzen said, “We are developing games that enhance the pedagogical development of pre-school kids. These games help them to discover their creativity and the world. They develop their manipulative skills and arouse their curiosity.” Evdüzen pointed out that the games were co-developed by pedagogues, psychologists, and child development specialists, and tested out by kids later on. Evdüzen told the story behind Kidolindo:
“You can find all the materials and instructions of a game in Kidolindo boxes. Our purpose is to let the kids have a quality time with their parents. Parents sometimes fail to spend time with their kids in the hassles of everyday life. And when they have time to spend with their kids they do not have time to buy age appropriate toys, or they do not know where to get these toys from. We offer the parents rich resources that are tested and evaluated by the experts.”
Evdüzen stated that she started her project after receiving angel investment and later on she developed her project at IUE Embriyonix Centre. She said that Kidolindo boxes were only accessible online, and users could subscribe at www.kidolindo.com address. She also said this month’s theme was market place. “Kids are preparing their own fruits and vegetables, their own aprons. They have money to role play customer-seller. Each month has a different theme. These are based on school curricula, special days, holidays, and seasons. So each month is a surprise for kids.”
