We designed a project for an 18 thousand 600 square meters plot in Adıyaman. I designed a sensitive and fragile structure for the project that aims the integration of the disabled people with the city,” said Ergül.
Designed an education campus
Ergül stated that he was invited to the competition by the Ministry of National Education to design an education campus. He said that he received an award for a project that involved education, sports, and dormitory areas. Ergül said that he took the comb like structure into consideration when he was designing the campus. He said:
“It would be most beneficial to design the education campuses that are half an hour bus drive from many of the cities in completeness. The students will be able to do many activities. And on the weekends, the sports areas and conference halls may be open to public use. Such structures call for an integrated approach.”
