An extraordinary project for disabled children…
Prof. Dr. Adanır explained the decoration process of felt hats with chocolate in following words:
“In the last stage of the project our students coupled up with students of culinary arts and design and discussed the decorations. They all worked together to decorate the hats with chocolate. Our design hats went on sale at the exhibition and the proceedings went to Buca Municipality for the construction of playground for disabled children.”
‘Modeling chocolate’
Chef Semen Öner, Instructor at IUE Department of Culinary Arts and Management, said, “We discussed how students dreamed about decorating the hats. We worked with the chocolate. Each hat got a unique decoration. Since the chocolate on the hats could not be eaten, student chefs also prepared a box of delicious chocolate to eat.”
