‘FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO INCREASE THEIR SUCCESS RATE’

Applications, for Izmir University of Economics (IUE) master’s and Ph.D. programs for spring semester for youth and professionals who want to hold a graduate diploma and choose a different path for their careers, started. Students will get a chance to improve themselves on a wide variety of subjects from electronics engineering to finance, from logistics management to health institutions management offered with thesis or non-thesis options as well as distance learning.

IUE Rector Prof. Dr. Can Muğan stated that the deadline for applications would be January 20, and she said they offered programs within the Graduate Schools of Business, Social Sciences, and Natural and Applied Sciences at the University to individuals who want to increase their career success, and self-improve. Prof. Dr. Muğan also stated that graduate education was a major need, that distance learning programs allowed students to receive education without having to be present at the university physically, and the University continued with its innovative approach.

‘Add new areas of specialization’

Prof. Dr. Can Muğan reported that graduate programs were developed to meet the needs of the era and the business world. The Rector stated the following:

“Choosing a career does not affect your future job only. Our careers have an effect on our entire lives. Therefore, at a time where there is a strong competitive environment, graduate degree programs offer an important fork in the road for professionals to refresh their knowledge and learn about recent developments and progress in their career paths. One area of specialization in work life is not enough anymore; we will have to add new areas of specialization.”

‘Meeting with new inventions’

Prof. Dr. Muğan indicated that case analysis studies were conducted with the experiences of managers from the business world in addition to theoretical courses, and she stated that education systems introduced students to new developments worldwide. Mugan said all of the courses in IUE Business Administration Distance Education Graduate Program (e-MBA) were taught live on the internet environment.
