IZMIR UNIVERSITY OF ECONOMICS IS THE RIGHT CHOICE TO SHAPE YOUR FUTURE
Izmir University of Economics (IUE) is going to shape the future of the youth until August 14 with a team of 81 people. 17 guidance counselors and 60 students will provide guidance services to the prospective university students at IUE Conference Hall. Mahmut Özgener, Chairman of the Executive Board of Izmir Chamber of Commerce, and President of IUE Board of Trustees, stated that a rapid change has started in all areas of life. “The University kept up with this change by enhancing its both academic and technological infrastructure. We would like to welcome all prospective students at Izmir University of Economics who want to shape their future,” said Özgener.
President Özgener indicated that the University adopted a student-focused development, and based on that they provided guidance services to prospective students and their parents so they can make right choices about university and programs. President Özgener stated that expert guidance counselors helped prospective students with their choices whereas student volunteers shared their experiences with them. President Özgener said, “We initiated a change at Izmir Chamber of Commerce to bring a breath of fresh air. A new era is also starting at the University. In this new era, we are going to raise our students as individuals, who can discuss, question, and comment about anything. They will have a vision for life and a good life stance who can produce new ideas. Students are the future of this country, and we want to establish this future together”.
‘Izmir University of Economics Raises Leaders’
President Özgener, who pointed that Izmir University of Economics would become an institution that would create scientific and technological values for Turkey, stated the following:
“Our main purpose is to make our students use the education they receive here master all areas of life. We revised all our planning based on that. In this new era, Izmir University of Economics will raise self-improving, creative, innovative youth who are competitive at a national and international level, who can produce technology, and are equipped with leadership attributes. The University will become a value-creating institution with our students and academicians. I would like to welcome all prospective students, who are brave with an entrepreneurial spirit, who have no boundaries when it comes to generating knowledge, and are eager to build a better world, to Izmir University of Economics.”
President Özgener reported that the University offered education in 35 undergraduate programs within 8 faculties, 29 associate programs within 3 vocational schools, 42 graduate programs and 9 doctoral programs within 4 graduate schools.
Experienced experts are supporting prospective students to make the right education choices at Izmir University of Economics. Students will be informed about their dream occupations as part of the “Izmir University of Economics Prospective Student Counseling Days” event which will go on until August 14, 2018 including weekends. Same services will also be provided at call centers at 444 49 38 / 0232488 85 85 as part of the event for those who cannot come to the University.
