'University' doping for young people

Izmir University of Economics (IUE) and TED Izmir Private School collaborated to produce projects that will contribute to the social and cultural development of young people and guide them towards their career goals. The protocol was signed by IUE Rector Prof. Dr. Murat Aşkar and TED Izmir Private School Founding Representative Açalya Öralay.

Series of events will be organized for young people to have information about professions and thus to set their career goals correctly within the scope of the protocol between IUE and TED Izmir Private School, which will be valid for 1 year. Many panels, seminars and conferences will be held with the participation of IUE academics that will be open to other young people in Izmir. IUE academics will often meet with young people to help them find answers to their questions, especially regarding university education. TED Izmir Private School, on the other hand, will provide a 10% education discount to the relatives of managers and employees at IUE. It will also contribute to the announcement of news, projects and events related to IUE to wider groups.

WE WILL GUIDE THEM IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION

IUE Rector Prof. Dr. Murat Aşkar stated that as a university, they are ready to take part in every project that will contribute to young people and develop their vision. Prof. Dr. Aşkar said, “We have acted together with TED Izmir Private School in different projects before and carried out quality studies faculty base. This year, we developed the partnership even more. One of the most important ways to be successful in life is studying in the field of interest and accordingly choosing a profession in which one can improve him/herself. To achieve this, it is necessary to plan and set goals much earlier than a few months before the university exam. Our biggest goal is to provide young people with a vision at an early age and to contribute to the correct target setting. To guide the youth in the best way. The collaboration is a concrete step towards this.”
