Speaking at the protocol signing ceremony held at IUE Board of Trustees Hall, Prof. Dr. Aşkar stated that they have developed many projects and collaborations for high school students as a requirement of the Campus Izmir concept, which is the first model of university-city integration in Turkey. Prof. Dr. Aşkar said, “Izmir Atatürk High School is among the most successful schools not only in our city but also in our country. Our biggest goal is to provide young people with a vision at an early age and to contribute to their correct target setting. To guide them in the best way. In addition, to take steps that will encourage young people to get interested in science, research, innovation and projects. To support them with everything including laboratories, allocation of space, preparing the ground where they can produce projects and turn their thoughts into reality. I find the cooperation made at this point very valuable.”
