Seminar Week Offers Valuable Insights for Interior Architecture Students
Fourth-year interior architecture students recently participated in a Seminar Week organized by Asst. Prof. Markus WILSING, Assoc. Prof. Emre ERGÜL, Lect. Asst. Prof. Ayçe DÖŞEMECİLER, Assoc. Prof. Didem KAN KILIÇ, Asst. Prof. Meltem ERANIL, Asst. Prof. Selin GÜLDEN, and Res. Asst. Yasemin ALBAYRAK KUTLAY as part of their IA 498 course. Held from March 12th to March 15th, 2024, the event featured a lineup of industry experts providing insightful sessions.
On Tuesday, March 12th, attendees had the opportunity to learn about "Creating Electrical Layouts for Interior Designers" from Cihan Onmuş, an Electrical and Electronic Engineer at Onmuş Electric Company. Architect Gülden Lapa from Den Project Architecture Company followed with a discussion on "Modular Systems and Acoustics in Interior Design."
Throughout the week, students engaged in informative sessions. On Friday, March 15th, Can Yengül, MSc. Architect from YENKUR Furniture Products A.Ş., conducted a presentation and mounting demo. The day concluded with a presentation on Modular Partition Walls by Duygu Toprak and Yalçın Özel from TRIMline Interiors. The Seminar Week provided students with a valuable opportunity to gain insights from industry professionals and enhance their skills in interior architecture.
