<p dir="auto">For five weeks this summer, I was a diligent and attentive surrogate father to sixty very special dependants.</p>
<p dir="auto">These precious wards belonged to one of the UK's rarest insect species: the large marsh grasshopper (Stethophyma grossum).</p>
