If you were starting something and needed a cofounder, what would you want to know about someone before deciding to build a company with them?

A CV and a couple of conversations can tell you the basics, but not very much about what it’s actually going to be like working together.

I’m asking because I’ve built Cofounnder around this - the idea is that you shouldn’t have to make that decision with such limited information. You can actually go through Alignment check together first and see how you work together.

For anyone who’s done it before: did you have some kind of trial period/project, or did you basically just decide from talking to each other?
