<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><rss xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:content="http://purl.org/rss/1.0/modules/content/" xmlns:atom="http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom" version="2.0"><channel><title><![CDATA[WIPs - cardigan, abandoned socks]]></title><description><![CDATA[<p dir="auto">Earlier this week I cast on for the <a href="https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/argo" rel="nofollow ugc">Argo cardigan</a>. It starts at the collar and has contiguous set-in sleeves. I’ve never done this type of sleeve before, so I’m interested to see how I like the process. The pattern is somewhat sparse, so not something I’d recommend to beginners.</p>
<p dir="auto">I’ve abandoned my MKAL socks, <a href="https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/ssal-2026-chameleonic-socks" rel="nofollow ugc">Chameleonic Socks</a>. I haven’t frogged them yet, but I likely will this weekend. Picking up all those selvedge stitches to knit down the front of the foot was too much of a slog for me. Maybe I’ll knit the pattern in the future as there’s parts of it I really like - the heel is really cool and I do like the effect of the front cables. But I may try to figure out a way to do it in the round so I don’t have 100+ selvedge edges to deal with.</p>
