For one, you have to figure out what someone worth being even is. It's a question of subjective aesthetics, subjective values, subjective morals; unless you, subjectively, opt to think of these things as objective, and therefore create a clear target for being. Even if worth is objetive, you still have to decide what framework is the authority.

Then, you have to work to realize your worth, in the sense of make happen. It takes time, patience, and determination. Time is limited, patience is itself a virtue to strive for, and determination is too nebulous a concept to properly consider a guiding principle for constructing worth.

It's circular. You need to be worthy to be worthy. I suppose this is why so many people off-shore their analysis to a god? Someone (something) else can be worthy, and then you are worthy too! It takes effort, but effort itself makes you worthy. This paradox has no solution (how pleonastic), but fantasy is enough to narrow our sight so we can only glimpse the easy parts of the elephant. The circularity is, of course, the point, however, and to evade it isn't just cowardly, but actively defeats the mechanism by which we become worthy.

Iteration is the key to life being worth living as "I". It's not determination, because it is not determined; it is effort only in the sense that it is difficult and continuous; it requires patience only in the sense that it ends with death; and it requires time only in the sense that we are alive before we die. To become worthy is to fail until we die. We change what we consider worthy, we reach for it, maybe brush against it, before changing our minds and reaching for something else.

In essence, life is worth living as long as you're alive.
