Eventually, I got tired of the frequent updates and the fact that the update GUI stopped working. I kept on updating through the terminal for many years, but I got tired of that as well. Nowadays, it’s running Debian, and I haven’t noticed any downsides so far. I think it’s a good distro for media consumption.
