My 2007 Volvo XC70 that's been fairly heavily modified was our (mostly) trusty steed on this adventure. We needed it the lift and tires on this adventure, as a few of the lookouts required some fairly significant offroading. One of the lookouts does require a short hike, of which Menko completed all on her own, surpassing our greatest expectations! We stop at a river and a lake along the road to cool off. By the end of the trip, Menko would see the fire lookout from the window of the car as we pulled up, and was super excited to climb it.

At time of posting, 4 of the 7 episodes have released. The final 3 will publish each Friday at noon pacific time.

I will also mention that this trip kinda ramped up, by which I mean I think it got really good around episode 3 and 4. If you're looking to dip your toes into the best parts before committing to watching the entire series, I'd start there. I specifically filmed and edited these so they'd stand on their own, so you won't be missing much by starting in the middle.
