Other people on github have <a href="https://github.com/Stremio/stremio-linux-shell/issues/96" rel="nofollow ugc">had the same issue.</a></p>
<p dir="auto">You can revert to an older version like 1.1.4. by downloading <a href="https://github.com/Stremio/stremio-linux-shell/releases/tag/v1.1.4" rel="nofollow ugc">it from the offical Github</a> of the stremio linux shell.<br />
You can then install the flatpak by going into your downloads and typing the  following commands into terminal:</p>
<p dir="auto"><code>cd ~/Downloads</code></p>
<p dir="auto"><code>flatpak install com.stremio.Stremio.Devel.flatpak</code></p>
<p dir="auto">You then should stop the app from auto-updating with:</p>
<p dir="auto"><code>flatpak mask com.stremio.Stremio</code></p>
<p dir="auto">I hope this helps anyone in my situation, I'm fairly new to using Linux and it took me some time. <s>Also can you edit text on Lemmy to be in code block?</s></p>
