“That watch you gave me called the police.”

“….and hello to you too?”

“I fell down the stairs to the basement and the watch just called for help. Did you know it could do that?”

“Yea, why do you think I got you one?”

-pause…then jerks to annoyance- “I had to tell the ambulance I’m fine don’t come”

I want her gone but not like that. Not starving to death with a broken hip in her basement. She’s shocked by this revelation and admittedly I kind of am too.
