https://www.orgzly.com/docs#sync-repo-directory

When I tap “Browse”, there is only “Open from.. Recent”. There are no recent files. But wtf, I should not be limited to whatever the thing thinks is a recent file.

There is also a text box for “Directory URI”, everything I try is “invalid”, such as:

/

file://.

.

/sdcard1/

org-mode/

Other apps have this same problem where the file browser is limited to either “Recent”, “photos”, or “videos”. I think the shitshow might be native to how AOS 5.1 is designed to nanny users or something. Anyone know the escape from this shit?

BTW, I have a file manager that can browse all my files just fine. But when I have to reach a file from within an app it’s a disaster.

Orgzly version is 1.8.10 (the last version before abandoning AOS 5 users)

Update

file:///sdcard/org-mode/
worked. But Orgzly is quite crippled.. could not handle most of the files. SyncOrg can at least present all my org-mode files, although it’s quite primitive in the constructs it can recognize.. cannot boldface or underline words.
