Hey I’m just a 14-year-old kid who made this simple game, and honestly, I’m really proud of it. ❤️
I know it might not be as good or polished as games made by bigger developers, but I’m just trying to get some people to play it and hopefully enjoy it.
If you don’t like the game, that’s totally fine! You can say that. I just don’t understand why some people have to be so aggressive about it.
I’m just a kid trying to make something I enjoy. 😅 So yeah, even if you don’t like it, please just be respectful. That’s

No one under 18 years of age or under the regulated minimum age defined by your local law (whichever is higher), is allowed to use or access the website.

If you wanted to make a game for the sake of people enjoying it i wouldn't be so harsh. You are selling in-game benefits and even promising "cash-prizes" for leaderboard players, this is no hobby project of a 14-year old, either you are naive or malicious.

Under the ToS of his own game he wouldn't be able to create an acount as a minor, either lying through his teeth or naive and malicious...

If you actually played the game, you’d know you don’t have to buy gems at all. You can earn them just by playing.
And about the leaderboard — yes, the top player gets the prize as a giveaway gift. That’s how giveaways work, and even some of the biggest games do giveaways. So I’d recommend actually playing the game before judging how it works.

Figured I'd take their stated age as the truth and run with the option that the site has a bright-line rule against but I'm not entirely convinced either.

This exactly proves you were looking to criticize, not give feedback. A player starts with 5,000 gems and can earn daily and weekly gems, so they can become a top player without spending the $2. And what’s wrong with having a shop in a game? Every game has one???!!!!!!!

And again, if you don’t like it, you don’t have to play it or even try it. But don’t criticize just for the sake of criticizing or make judgments without actually playing the game.

If you really are minor running this you should remove any monetisation asap before getting into legal trouble. If you truely enjoy coding and creating games continue what you do and check with an adult what the legal framework would be to implement a "donation" function. If you are good at it and make players want to see more of your work you will get support for your vison, not by putting slop on the table and grabbing for cash. If all those ifs are positive, you have my sincere apologies for the bluntness and all my support for your future.

what you can monetize, but actually wouldn't valid as you aren't of legal age to open a banking account. Stop be disrepectful to the community.

I played your game, i really liked the age of browser games and played my fare share. I didn't feel any passion or soul in your game, it is barely an alpha-state sandbox with a shady monetization scheme. Are you really 14-year old? If so then great stuff for learning how to code and for the love of god put some love in your creation and don't try to rip people off.

Many thanks for your feedback — this is actually genuine feedback, and I really appreciate it.
Just to explain the whole story: my dad has the App Store account, so I developed the game and submitted it through his account. I’m still learning coding and trying to build simple games and learn more about the whole process.
Any money I make from the game will just go toward improving my skills and learning more. That’s honestly the whole story.
As for the $20 prize, my dad said he would give it to the winner as encouragement. If you’re the winner, I’ll make sure you get it, and I’ll even share the result with the community here.
I’m not trying to make anything complicated — I’m just learning, building, and looking for a little encouragement.. I hope the whole story is clear now

Many thanks for your feedback! Yes, I’m 14 years old, and honestly, I did my best to make it. I know it’s not perfect, but I still think it’s a pretty good start. I’m learning as I go and just trying to improve. Thanks again!

No you are a scammy vibecoder hiding behind a 14 years old persona to not face criticisms. But we here do not care about that shit in the slightest.
A beginner of programming wouldn't start out with a full on freemium game with a case prize of how much again USD.
