https://store.steampowered.com/search?term=moominThe main two games are Moomintroll: Winter's Warmth and Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley. Not trying to sound like a shill or anything, but it looks like they're discounted for the next nine days. Me, I'm trying to decide which one I might want to buy, and so far I'm shading towards the first. I mean, I like to read !moomin@sopuli.xyz as often as I can, and Snufkin hasn't appeared there yet, and that's how that works.
Most of the other titles there seem to be free downloads accessible when you buy one of the two above. Then you can grab artbooks, soundtracks & various expansions as you like. Now, little of this would matter much if the games were crap, but looking at the reviews, they're both popular and critically-appreciated games. *phew*
The other two titles seem to be slated for release later this year. Moomin Adventure is something for VR goggles (which I don't have) and Moomin: Midsummer Madness looks like a sequel to the "Winter" game.
Honestly, the last time I tried a BD-themed game like these, I got bored fast. I think it was a Tintin-game ("Empire of the Sun" maybe?) that tried to walk in the footsteps of LucasArts games such as the Indiana Jones adventures. That said, the SCUMM model has pretty much aged out for me, and a prefer point-n-click games now. Which these might well be, but I'll have to look more closely...

Collected these beauts over the past year or so. Recently finished reading the series all the way through for a second time and now there's a Laureline-shaped hole in my heart. Do y'all have any recommendations on series with a similar ethos?
