"Someday I'll learn." - Captain Kirk
The Enterprise is escorting two robot ships containing a critical supply of Quintotriticale for Sherman's Planet, which is suffering from crop failures. Klingons have been reported in the area and there is intel that they are testing a new weapon. Sure enough, A Klingon Battlecruiser appears, firing on an unknown ship of Federation design. While attempting to intervene, the Klingon ship engulfs the Enterprise in a kind of stasis field which prevents them from moving or returning fire - the rumored super weapon. Captain Kirk uses the robot ships to outflank the Klingons and force then to overexert themselves and retreat, allowing them to rescue the occupant of the ship they were chasing. But the satisfaction from causing the Klingons to turn tail quickly turns to dismay when they realize the person they rescued was Cyrano Jones... and a giant litter of Tribbles.
