Fairphone sold in the EU/US will usually show an EID on *#06#. That is the Japan eSIM radio. Maps, trains, Translate.
Suica / ICOCA is a different chip (FeliCa). Welcome Suica Mobile is 180 days, no refund (JR East, as of March 2026). EU firmware generally cannot add it. Plastic card at the airport machine.
Dated SKUs copied 2026-08-29 (expire when checkout changes):
- Ubigi 10GB/7 days US$14 on NTT Docomo. 7-day unlimited SKU URL was 404 that day.
