If you grew up nudist, did your family coach you on boundaries for hugging and cuddling?

Two things non-nudists don't understand about the lifestyle are:

1. How can we not be aroused by seeing other people, including even family, nude all the time?
2. How is cuddling and hugging appropriate when members of the family are naked?

Simple answers to these from my experience is that

1. People basically don't get aroused by their family members because of acclimatisation to being around them - and being around them naked. I would only get turned on if something particularly arousing happened, e.g if I overheard intercourse (it can happen, lol).

That being said, a bit after I hit puberty i would get erections from seeing my mother or sister at home. But it's well documented that even in clothed homes people can base some of their sexual attraction on the people closest to them - you get over it quickly.

2. Now revisiting the title of the post: there is a distinct difference between a romantic/sexual embrace and a familial or friendly one. A romantic hug seeks to press closer to the other person at the chest, and/or at the hips. Hands linger more, caressing occurs and certain areas like the lower back or hips might be touched.

When embracing my own family, they would point out what is a polite limit of closeness, and they would basically remind me of it every time we hugged, until I just knew it from practice. The main thing to keep in mind is don't be squashing into the other person's breasts (if it can be helped), and don't press penis against penis.

I wonder if anyone else had this? Don't feel pressured to share, because i know it's hard to talk about 😄.

I think the other thing worth mentioning though is that my family wasn't nude 100% of the time at home, anyway, so don't picture it as a permanent nudist bootcamp.
