Just did a fresh reinstall of Fedora 44 KDE, only to get this error by Proton Auth. I had this error before when I installed this same operating system for the first time but don't really recall how I fixed it. I believe it's an issue where proton is struggling to detect the keyring.
This being KDE, KDEWallet should be the primary, but Proton doesn't seem to detect it. I tried installing the gnome-keyring with seahorse as well, no luck. I'm not the most tech-savvy when it comes to this but for anyone who has tried proton auth here before, did you run into this? I'm surprised to see basically no posts that ran into this issue
