Adding another collaboration focused on environmental and social benefits, Izmir University of Economics (IUE) has signed a protocol with WWF-Turkey (World Wide Fund for Nature). 

The March 8^th International Women's Day was celebrated with various events at Izmir University of Economics (IUE). The events, coordinated by IUE Gender and Women's Studies Research and Application Center (EKOKAM), brought together academic and administrative staff and students. 

Izmir University of Economics (IUE), aiming to leave a lasting mark on nature and the future by giving an exemplary message on March 8^th International Women's Day, created a ‘Commemorative Forest’ for its female employees in collaboration with the Aegean Forest Foundation. 

Damla Pirci and Yarkın Yalgın, students of Department of Biomedical Engineering at Izmir University of Economics, and Doğa Pirci and Sarp Şentürk, students of Department of Computer Engineering at Yaşar University, developed an application that offers techniques that people with mental health problems can apply in their daily lives with a gamified experience.
