Do NOT cook your ramen with the spice! Do THIS instead!

I only put mine in for a minute and I eat them crunchy with the water drained and the mix sprinkled on as I take bites. Glad to know there are more people similar to me on this.
Oh, nice! I wouldn't eat them crunchy, but cold noodles are amazing. During summer in Japan, they are a lifesaver too. 🥵🍜

I used to know a girl who would take a packet of instant Raman, not cook it or add water at all, just sprinkle the spice packet on top and eat it like a pop tart. I emphasize used to know...

I am SO SORRY!!! I just wanted to try a clickbaity title! Never done it before! Feel sick now... 🤣😭
Anyway, when your ramen seem cooked - which in my case is alway a minute or so BEFORE the instructed time - you pour 'em out into a sieve and let all the boiling water run off. You then COOL the noodles under cold, running water. This makes the noodles more elastic, but not quite al dente. After having thoroughly rinsed the noodles, you put them in the bowl of your choice and THEN add the spice! Stir - BUT DO NOT SHAKE - and EAT.
Over and out.
look. I get annoyed at all the extra work of package ramen vs cup of noodles.

She didn't break them up, literally take the brick of noodles, pour spice on top like it was frosting and bit it like a pop tart

You can edit titles.
I never shit on someone's food preferences. You like what you like, and I'm happy you do.
That being said, this community is about conversation, so I hope you'll accept my take on why I doubt most people would enjoy this (and why I'm confident I wouldn't like this either).
See, part of why ramen works "dry", as in not as a soup, is getting the packet distributed fairly well, so that you get both even coverage and time for the contents to dissolve a little.
Once you rinse the noodles, not only do you lose the faint scent that that packet brings because there's no stream to carry it, but you've rinsed off the starches that help spread the flavor as well as keep it on the noodles. Plus, they tend to stick together worse when rinsed, which is counter intuitive, but has been my experience with rinsed ramen being used without the packet at all.
They get gummy when I've tried rinsing them to get rid of the oil residues.
So you end up with a less acceptable texture, less consistent flavor, and less scent (which is a major factor in what we taste). That equals a much blander result that still manages to be salty as fuck all.
Again, if you like it that way, awesome! I just don't think most people would, and know I wouldn't.

Such blatant lickbait. In a good way!

Only thing missing is an oversaturated, oversharpened, sensationalistic image of me looking in awe at a pot of boiling water, noodles and spice.
