A 36-year-old passenger allegedly attempted to open an emergency exit door during a flight from Malaysia to India at an altitude of around 9,000 meters.
The man damaged the panel near the emergency exit before other passengers restrained him.
After landing, he was handed over to police. When asked about his motive, he reportedly replied: "I just wanted to."
