Prof. Dr. Gül Akdoğan from Izmir University of Economics (IUE) Faculty of Medicine has been appointed to a prestigious international position.

Deniz Alper (17), a student in the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation at Izmir University of Economics (IUE) and a national swimmer, became the world runner-up in the 50-meter backstroke with a time of 26.52 seconds at the International School Games' Bahrain 2024. 

The Court of Cassation, Izmir Chamber of Commerce (IZTO), and Izmir University of Economics (IUE) collaborated to organize a symposium detailing solutions to disputes between property owners and tenants. 

The ‘Laser Level Applications Workshop’ course, offered by Şeref Alpago, a Lecturer and Civil Engineer in the Department of Architecture at Izmir University of Economics (IUE), was held with the participation of 50 students.

Prof. Dr. Muharrem Kılıç, President of Human Rights and Equality Institution of Turkey (TIHEK), shared important insights on human rights violations and penalties for discrimination as a guest lecturer for the 2024-2025 Opening Lecture at Izmir University of Economics (IUE) Faculty of Law. 

Asst. Prof. Dr. Burçin Önder, Faculty Member and Advisor to the Rector at Izmir University of Economics (IUE), stated that Izmir offers long-term opportunities in both residential and commercial real estate investments. 

Hüseyin Sabuncu, Özkan Öztürk, and Nazım Berktuğ Aşer, students from Izmir University of Economics (IUE) Department of Logistics Management, came in second place in the 21^st Interuniversity Logistics Case Competition held this year. 

In an effort to create new career opportunities for its students, the Faculty of Business at Izmir University of Economics (IUE), which is part of the IBSEN summer school program that includes some of the world's top universities, provided three students with an experience in the Netherlands. 

The impact of a growing global population and global warming, the narrowing of energy resources, significant climate changes, and the need for green transformation projects led Izmir University of Economics (IUE) to take action. 

Prof. Dr. Sevil Atasoy, keynote speaker of at the opening lecture of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Izmir University of Economics (IUE) for the fall semester, delivered important messages about ‘Turkey's fight against addiction’.
