Mahmut Özgener, Chairman of Izmir Chamber of Commerce (IZTO) and President of the Board of Trustees of IUE, and Rector Prof. Dr. Yusuf Hakan Abacıoğlu gave detailed information to Governor Elban about the latest studies carried out at the university, especially the new campus project to be built in Güzelbahçe.

A special ceremony was held at Izmir University of Economics (IUE) for the 104 academics appointed to professorship, associate professorship, and assistant professorship positions between the years of 2022 and 2024. 

Students of Beyaz Köşk Kindergarten and guest children sang songs, had fun on the playgrounds, painted, and exhibited their talents in art and environment themed workshops, experiencing the joy of the holiday together.

Students of Izmir University of Economics (IUE) Department of Textile and Fashion Design prepared stylish and eco-friendly designs by reusing waste denim pieces. 

Spain-based ranking organization Scimago Institutions Ranking ranked IUE Department of Mathematics as 261^st in the world and second in our country, as a result of detailed examinations on many criteria such as the international studies of faculty members, the number of publications and the educational content of the department.

Fourth-year interior architecture students recently participated in a Seminar Week organized by Asst. Prof. Markus WILSING, Assoc. Prof. Emre ERGÜL, Lect. Asst. Prof. Ayçe DÖŞEMECİLER, Assoc. Prof. Didem KAN KILIÇ, Asst. Prof. Meltem ERANIL, Asst. Prof. Selin GÜLDEN, and Res. Asst. Yasemin ALBAYRAK KUTLAY as part of their IA 498 course. Held from March 12th to March 15th, 2024, the event featured a lineup of industry experts providing insightful sessions.
