The first bell rang for pre-school and first grade students across Turkey, and thousands of children were excited to start school. Gizem Simge Kısa, clinical psychologist at Izmir University of Economics (IUE), gave advice to families in order to speed up the process of children's adaptation to school and prevent them from getting anxious. 

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pınar Oğuz Ekim, Lecturer at Izmir University of Economics (IUE), was awarded a 75 thousand Euro grant from the European Union for her autonomous transport robot developed for use in the supply centers, warehouses or factories of large companies. 

Asst. Prof. Dr. Deniz Avcı Hosanlı, Lecturer at Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, Izmir University of Economics (IUE) and Cansu Değirmencioğlu, PhD candidate from the Chair of Architecture at the Technical University of Munich, prepared a project that examines the Ataturk (Keçiören) Sanatorium, which was established in Ankara about 70 years ago for the treatment of tuberculosis patients, from an architectural, historical and social perspective. 

Prof. Dr. Gönül Dinç Horasan, Lecturer at Izmir University of Economics (IUE) Faculty of Medicine, pointed out that high heat waves will be effective in the coming years due to global warming and suggested the creation of a national ‘Heat-Health Action Plan’. 

Continuing its educational journey for 22 years as the first Foundation University of the Aegean Region, Izmir University of Economics (IUE), has reached a general occupancy rate of 99.92 percent this year, adding a new one to its achievements.

The Faculty of Medicine of Izmir University of Economics (IUE), which was established 6 years ago to contribute to Turkey's development in the field of health, produced its first graduates. 

Senem Özdemir, who has been dreaming of becoming a pilot since childhood, graduated as the top student in the Department of Physics at Izmir University of Economics (IUE), which she started with the thought that she would never give up piloting even if she studied in another program. 

Dr. Esin Çağlayan, Director of the Teaching and Learning Center at Izmir University of Economics (IUE), stated that they continue their efforts ceaselessly to provide a learning environment equipped with technology in line with the goal of 'excellence in education.'

Selen Çabuk, Deniz Taplu and Ece Deniz Ergenç, graduates of Izmir University of Economics (IUE) Department of Sociology, took their achievements to the international arena and received acceptance from 3 different countries for their graduate education. 

Izmir University of Economics (IUE) Vocational School collaborated with TPI Composites, a turbine blade manufacturer based in the United States, operating in the field of wind energy.
